The purpose of this project is to help the company implement the rebranding strategy well within the stipulated time and defined cost structure. The company wants to implement the rebranding processes as soon as possible so that it completes without interfering with the usual operation of the company.
The project requires the PMO to build a project management plan that will help the department in conveniently handle the whole project implementation. The major focus would be on the tricky components such as policies, forms and other official documents.

The target audience for this project are the company employees who will be interacting with the interface and those who will be using the documents for official purposes.

The project is an in house development and the department that is involving in the project is under the control of the company. The company has full control of the project development and the department has the full access to the necessary resources for the project development.
There are no such copyright infringement issues thus sighted far in any manner, whether it is related to the logo designs or the use of colour and fonts. Therefore, on the copyright front, the company is clear to move ahead with the project development.
The content requirement related to the project is available within the organization and the concerned department can access those whenever required. The company can implement the project sufficiently. All the related documents are readily available.
The company has in house developer who can handle the designing and implementation of the rebranding activity that are related to the project. The company does not need to bring the employees from outside for such activity as it has enough experience in the same as it has already conducted similar exercise in the past (hypothesised).
There is some privacy issues related to the project development where the rebranding activity may lead to revelation of some sensitive data related to the company to the employees who should not have the access to the same. The company can mitigate this issue by giving special permit to any such employee with a clear non-disclosure agreement.
The project management department must keep the project development low profile till it is fully implemented. It is suggested so that the competition does not pick on any internal changes.
There are some of the potential risks that are associated with this project development. They are:
- The sponsor of the project can change their mind on the logo and colour that has been selected for rebranding and such fickleness might impact the project progress
- Another associated risk is the lack of enough budgets to take the project ahead without any financial issues. The project manager has to clearly state the project scope and associated cost to the management prior to handling the project. Moreover, the project manager can review the cost structure and suggest necessary changes to the management.
There are no such ethical issues involved in the project that can hamper the project progress. However, the employees are suggested to act honestly and diligently while the project is in progress so that it completes on the stipulated time and estimated budget.
