Introduction

Shrek and Spirited away are very attractive and efficient movies. It was a great pleasure to watch these short cartoon movies. In this paper, we will study about the both films and also give our reaction towards its characters and background which make them successful among cartoon lovers. Both the movies are very interesting. The cartoon characters in the movies; Shrek or Spirited away have an outstanding personality, and they all are looking like a real person. Both movies Shrek and Spirited away was developed in 2001, but Shrek movie belongs from Western princess animation culture and the Spirited away belongs from Eastern princess animation culture.
Shrek is considered as a computer-animated American fantasy comedy film directed by Andrew Adamson, on the other hand, Spirited away is a Japanese animation fantasy film which was created by Hayao Miyazaki. Spirited away is a story of 10-year-old boy Chihro who is going on an outing with her parents. In addition, Shrek is a story of a big ogre who lives alone in a huge forest between woods. During watching both movies, there is a very happiest scene which makes me very happy. But with the happiest scene, there are also some instances in the movies which scared me lots (Reider, 2005). I like Chihro very much because she was so cute and funny which makes the overall story very interesting and entertaining. But in the Shrek movie, I like the fairies very much which are looking so awesome, and their dressing sense makes them very beautiful.
The film Spirited away was composed with diegetic sound but the Shrek movie composed with non-diegetic sound which makes them different from each other. Due to the diegetic sound, Spirited away received awards at the 56th Mainichi Film Competition Award for Best Music. Diegetic sound gives me so relief that I am enjoying it lots and started hammering with the sound. On the other hand, the non-diegetic sound of Shrek makes it popular and very famous among lovers of fairy and tale stories. The non-diegetic sound of the film such as writer's commentary and mood music makes it very interesting. Both movies make my day so happiest which I never have before. I like the way Devil has shown this character in the Shrek film. This makes it different and outstanding from the other characters of the films such as fairies and kings. The composition of Shrek movie was done in a higher manner which makes it very entertaining and interesting. On the other hand, I like the way the funny mother and father of Chihro has shown their character. This amazing character of both makes the film very popular and interesting for the children as well as youngsters also. Spirited away is distinct and unique from the other cartoon films. The composition of Spirited away also done in an efficient manner. The background creation of the film makes it very creative, and all scenes of the film look very real. There are most of the people in the world who think that cartoon films are very animated and complicated (Beck, 2005). But it is not so; cartoon movies contribute more towards delivering happiness to people.
These short films were not so difficult and confusing but were very interesting and funny. Both films represent us different interesting scenes and deserve a lot of appreciation from me. In Spirited away film, the role of Chihro is shown for a short time, but the presence of Chihro can be felt in every moment of the film because she is the important reason behind the attractiveness of the film. But in the Shrek movie, all the characters play an equal role because it was completely based on them. The developer of the Shrek film used efficient alignment methods to make it attractive, but I liked the way he has to represent all the images of the film. In the same manner, Spirited away movie also used attractive and effective alignment methods.

Despite all, I liked the entry way of devils in the Shrek movie which becomes the whole scene very dangerous. It looked like as a real devil who is coming to eat fairy. One of the attractive scenes of the movie was when the prince met with a fairy. They both looked like as a real life couple and made for each other. This makes the whole event so attractive and romantic. On the other hand, in Spirited away movie, I liked the talking and behaving style of Chihro which becomes the whole movie very emotional and interesting. This movie gives a feeling of attachment in the mind of every person. This attachment saves me from getting bored. Spirited away was pleasant and attractive because there was no hold in it. Thus, overall it can be said that both movies give me a feeling of attachment and both entertain me in largest manner.
Shrek film developer mainly focuses on creating fluid motion so that attractiveness of the film for an audience can be enhanced. But it may prove dangerous and can produce a poor result. The producer of the film should try to become simpler, deliberative, and slower so that it can produce a high creative and interesting film. The director of the film utilizes the Multiplane camera to record the picture so that it can be presented with high animation in front of an audience. On the other hand, Spirited away films plays loose and fast with the rules. For animated its events, the film mainly utilizes the 24 FPS or 6 FPS (Brabham, 2006). This will help the director in making the scenes of movies very pleasant and attractive.
In Spirited away movie, the Chihro and the other child characters kept me busy in watching them. Chihro gets talking with her parents and that scene of the film show for a long time. The background and other interesting things of both the films are different from the other animated movies of history and the past. Both films are fulfilled with a various happiest moment which entertains the overall audience in a significant manner. Apart from this the writers and director of both the films also added various live characters to make it very entertaining and attractive. All this helps the directors and producers in maintaining a fluid in the flow of the film (Denison, 2007). The animation style utilized by the producer and directors of the film looked very artistic. The most interesting and attractive things represent in the films that attracted me, and my eyes were the method in which the director of the movie expressed the expressions and movements of characters such as Chihro, devil, Faire, and Prince. It is very critical for the directors to create and develop such expressions in the film. Both writers of the film try to give their best and they become successful. I really appreciate their creativity style.
While watching the Spirited away film, I saw various happiest characters such as Chihro; she is a girl which acting in such a manner that I did not feel that she is not alive. Both movies give me lots of satisfaction, and I really feel good by watching these movies. I appreciated the efforts performed by the director of the Spirited away or Shrek. Both films are very efficient and attractive and provide efficient entertainment ways to people. Both are different in creativity and other background style, but they both give a significant message to the audience. Both films are good and entertaining the audience in an efficient manner.
