Issue 

While I was working in an organization of FMCG sector for a period of two months, at the initial stage we were given training for a period of 4 days in order to learn about the job. Being an individual the issue which I faced regarding the training program was that the trainer was not able to communicate well as they were not able to clearly deliver the message which they were supposed to and it became difficult to understand the working procedure. The other issue was we were given various roles to perform in a team and the experienced persons were very rigid as they were not ready to listen to the trainers and the tasks were becoming chaotic to perform.

Personal Experience from the Issue 

Being an individual, I didn’t have a good experience regarding the training program of the company. As the trainer was not communicating well and it was very difficult for me to understand what I am supposed to do because he was not clearly defining the roles and the trainer was not confident enough to conduct the training program as his words and body gestures were not matching at all. During the training program 4-5 persons were the experienced ones, and they were very dominating as we were performing the task in the teams and being an individual it was difficult for me to use my capabilities and potential as the experienced ones were imposing the orders on me and I was forced to follow them, and they were not even listening to the trainer's advice.

Perspective on the Issue 

Being an individual, my personal take on the issue is that as the training program was not conducted properly, it further impacted our performance as the experienced ones were not able to use new innovative methods as they were rigid to their traditional ways. And even I was not able to explore my potential and new opportunities. Furthermore, it adversely impacted our performance as we were not able to give productive results to the company.
According to the researchers (Dhar, R. L. 2015), it is very important to conduct the training programs effectively as it affects the performance of the employees. The companies should make sure that they are hiring best trainers in order to train the employees and they should provide adequate training to the employees in order to explore new challenges in an effective manner.

Conclusion 

From the above-given issue, it has been understood that it is very important for organizations to have effective and efficient trainers in order to conduct the training program adequately. The training program helps the employees to learn new ways and techniques which are required to do a job. It also helps in developing new capabilities to explore and face challenges and risks. Therefore, training programs are an essential part of an organization.
