Answer 1. 

For me Social Media is the most interesting topic. As social media is most discussed and most debatable topic. Great relevance of social media made me interested in this topic. According to Kaplan & Haenlein 2009, Social Media is a group of Internet-based applications that build on the ideology and technological foundations of Web 2.0, and that allow the creation and exchange of user-generated content.
Social media is a form of electronic communication through which users create online communities to share information, ideas, personal messages, and other content such as video, pictures, etc. Now a day’s social media is becoming an integral part of life.
Social media is a short attention span as any organization, and companies use a social media platform to advertise their offering as it has the maximum reach in the general public (Duggan et al., 2015). Social media play a vital role in influencing the general public as it has maximum reach in public and people get influenced by social media activities and news. Social media refers to the means of interaction among people in which they create, share, and exchange information and ideas in virtual communities and networks.
I am also using Facebook, WhatsApp extensively to communicate with my relative's friend and family. As Facebook and WhatsApp are very convenient to use and a good platform to share information and to be in touch with loved ones. Recent development on the internet and that to social media has made this topic interested. Social media has upgraded itself in a way to reduce data consumption of the consumer or user (Kietzmann et al., 2011). With the day by day reduction in data rate and increasing availability of internet made social media in the limelight, and through this it gains great importance and popularity.

Answer 2. 

As I have been using various social media such as Facebook and WhatsApp for a long time. Over the last few years, I have made several friends from different parts and region. And this has enlightened me a lot in a way that it made me aware of different culture and traditions. As I am using Facebook for many years, it has some unique features that have been upgraded from time to time and through this people can chat, call, send a video message in real time.
On the other hand, we can buy and sell many things on social media. Having active on social media may influence our decision making regarding the new purchase of goods or services. It has great relevance in today's era as one can share his or her views on real time. It leads to transfer of information and news in real time. It is easiest and convenient platform to share views. It has low maintenance cost also.
As far as me I am also using WhatsApp profoundly to communicate with all my beloved one. So it has a smooth user interface and hassles free application social Media platform has made easy for me to stay in close touch with all the people I want to.
My reflection on Social Media.
  • It has made very easy to get in touch with all the beloved one.
  • It has made easy to communicate all the relevant information in real time.
  • It made me aware of various culture and tradition of the different region.
  • Through social media, I get aware about various new facts and news within a short span of time.
  • Social media helps in making purchase decision easy for me as I can share picture and design to my friends and relatives to help me out in making a purchase decision.

The application and use of Social Media in the present and future professional career is at a high pace. Due to advancement and improvement in technology especially in mobile devices like smartphone and tablets as well as increased usage of internet due to reduced cost of data and minimum usage of data by most applications (Kaplan et al., 2010).
Social media is being used extensively by many business and corporate organizations and other institutions as well due to its high and maximum reach at least time.
As social media offers an easy and convenient communication option to everyone. Social media has a substantial impact on the professional world as well.
In future social media has extensive use in the organization for transfer of information in the least time. As communication in the organization has reduced the time consumption and made the daily operation of the business easy and effective and efficient.
Now a day's many organization is using social media devices and platform in a way to conduct recruitment activity. And through social platform recruiter use to analyze the deep profile of the candidates. More insight can be gain using social media, for example, LinkedIn. Hence it is also important for me to have id on LinkedIn in a way to get hired by a recruiter.
Due to globalization and modernization, Digital marketing came into existence, and digital marketing is only possible through using social media so in future, also social media has great relevance regarding marketing also. As through digital marketing, marketer uses to offer their offering to potential customer through social media. As this social media is the platform through which marketer can reach its maximum potential customer. As digital marketing is completely based on social media hence, the importance and relevance of social media are evident. In coming future, all the companies are trying hard to have digital marketing department separate (Asur et al., 2010). Social media also play a vital role in education as social media offers a lot of insight related to education and technology.
Due to improvement in technology and advancement of technology it has become part and parcel of the organization to use social media in a way to stay in a competitive scenario. Through social media, an organization can judge and predict the nature and demand of coming future generation, so regarding planning also social media helps a lot and has great relevance.
