Language Development and Assessment in the Preschool Period 

In this study, it has been observed that most of the children who are young make progress that is quite significant during their first 4 years. It has been also stated in the study that if there is any kind of differences or delays with regards to the patterns of language acquisition then it also indicates that there is some amount of developmental problem in the child to a great extent.The evaluation of the children who are young with regards to the language skills generally highlights the assessment of their performances when contrasted with the peers who are developing. The study also suggested that the judgment of the language abilities in preschool children must incorporate an assessment of both receptive as well as the expressive skills and it should also contain a judgment of more than one aspect of language (Conti-Ramsden and Durkin, 2012).  
In this study observation method is generally used. Learning a language is regarded as one of the main developmental tasks that are faced by the children during the years of their preschool. However, it has been also argued that during this time-period the children also tend to become more proficient with the language they use and they also use language for overcoming any kind of misunderstandings. Moreover, there are also some children who have the language difficulties and they are quite slow from the starting point but by the middle childhood problems with the sound, production generally tends to fade. There are several language assessment instruments that are used for analyzing some of the language difficulties of a child. The main findings of the study also revealed that there are a lot of challenges that are faced by the practitioners evaluating the behavior of the children with regards to developing children of the same age generally forms the basis of the judgment and . also careful consideration to the context is highly required. In case of the language impairment it has been also found out there are no such neurobiological or genetic markers

The linguistic environment of preschool classrooms 

In this study, it has been observed that the children who are young try to speak their first word but there is some amount of difference that has been observed in each one of children. On the other hand, the differences in the children tend to reflect the influence of nurture and also the language development in the children that includes both biologics as well as the genetics of an individual that directly shows the environment of a child. The main findings of the study are that the educators are improving the understandings of the individuals in terms of the language learning environments with regards to the early-education setting in a different way such as comments and questions are used by the educators when they are talking with the children. 
The cohesion between both of the studies is that a teacher always plays an important role assessment and language development in the preschool as well as in the teachers are observed as quite responsible for creating a proper linguistic environment in the classroom.
