  • Course Prerequisites: All students: NR700, NR701, NR702, NR703, NR704, NR705, NR706, NR708, NR712, and NR713 (student admitted prior to January 2017) OR NR711 and NR714 (for students admitted January 2017 or after).
  • Clinical Compliance Requirements: For DNP students, there are no specific practicum compliance requirements at Chamberlain. Only when the student's practicum facility requests it would it be necessary to meet student compliance standards. Students who do not satisfy the facility-specific requirements prior to the start of the course will not be registered or withdrawn.

  • If an overall examination score of 76 percent is not reached, the final course grade will be based solely on the overall test result. If the student does not pass clinical, the student will receive an F for the course.
  • The course must be passed with a final grade of 76 percent or 760 points (letter grade C). Amounts greater than 0.5 percent will not be increased to the next whole number.
  • Extra credit assignments are not permitted under any circumstances.

Clinical Evaluation

To pass the course, students must complete all clinical requirements and show that they have met all of the course's objectives.
