Communicable diseases are illness caused by microbes such as bacteria, virus, etc which spread through contact with contaminated surfaces, insect bites, aerosols, body fluids or blood products (Edmekong & Huang, updated 2019). Some examples of communicable diseases include influenza, chickenpox, measles, AIDS, typhoid, cholera, etc. Common route of
    transmission is fecal-oral, contaminated food or water, infected aerosols, sexual intercourse, contact with contaminated fomites, skin contact, to name a few.
