Answer ( 1 )

  1. A literature review is a comprehensive summary of the topic of previous research and its help to know the intellectual heritage of the paper. The literature review may help to gain knowledge of existing debate as well as research related to a particular area of study. As well as the knowledge that has been gained may be present in a written report. Therefore conducting a literature review may help to build knowledge in the current field. The purpose of the literature review is to understand intellectual heritage as well as the intellectual genealogy of an issue that has been taken for inquiry (Gray et al. 2017).
