Total quality management is a process of focusing and implementing the things which improve the overall performance of the organization and enables the organization in compete in the more challenging market. It is always believed that managing the proper quality aspects of overall organization converts the whole organization in a stronger organization and achieving things in the best manner. Continuous change in the business scenario also brings change in the ways of utilizing things in earlier days. All the technologies which are considered at the top level by the organizations around the world might be obsolete in the future scenario. So, the reliability of the only one aspect of the business does not prove beneficial for a long time because advancements in future make it useless in the days of future. All this encourages the organizations to strive continuous so that they can learn new aspects of every functionality being conducted in their business. Act of stagnation forces the organizations or companies to perish. The concept of the total quality management does not consider only the act of getting certified on the aspects of quality from outside agencies. The concept of quality management focuses more on doing the right things in a right and efficient manner, which will be helpful for an organization in building its image in the market.
Continuous development of the processes of the business organizations which have major implications brings effectiveness in the activities of the business organization and leads to more profit in future. It is also believed that those business houses which strives more for improving its business processes, generally perform well in the longer time period as it also strengthens the quality aspects of the organization.( Talib, 2013) However, it has also been considered by various researchers that striving towards improving the operational or various other processes of business leads to the increase in the pace of conducting daily businesses and gain a competitive advantage over their competitors. Towards many researchers, Cultural improvement has also been considered as a way to improve the behavior of the peoples which act and work within the organization and achieve certain objectives and goals. It has also been concluded that those organizations which have superior cultural environment able to attract more and talented employees in an organization which converts the whole organization into longer run up by beating their competitors with the help of better human resources.
The commitment of the employees and the management have also been considered as the most important aspect of the total quality management. The commitment of the employees completely depends on upon the way employees are treated in an organization which ultimately brings development of culture. Commitment from the management makes the performance the performance of the organization effective as the employee of the organization feels that the management is supportive and willing to support their actions. Employees felt motivated and committed towards the organization when they are rewarded, and their efforts are recognized in the organization. It is observed by the various researchers that, providing proper education and training to their employees will be beneficial for the organization in return. All these elements help the whole organization compete in a better manner with the help of committed and talented human resources.
(Gimenez-Espin, 2013) found that driving the whole organization towards the customers also improve the profitability and market position of the organization in a high manner. All the satisfied customers of the organization visit again in the organization which will be beneficial for the organization. Therefore the investment on the satisfaction of customers and continuous training to employees for improving their skills and focus on the customers is likely to raise the whole organization towards a new level. If the concept of total quality management implemented by the organization in a significant manner, it leads a high number of satisfied customers automatically and improves the overall performance of the business organization. The relation between the satisfaction level of the customers and total quality management is cause and effect process.

(Goetsch, 2014)However, it can be said that there is no any direct correlation study regarding the sustainability and total quality management. The main motive of conducting this research is filling the same gap.
(Blumenthal) concluded in his study that role of the quality has always been considered as an important issue in the products and services. As the environment becomes more competitive, all the industries focusing more on obtaining a competitive edge in the market on their competitors.
(Malik, 2014) conducted his study to present the salient underlying construct session for successful implementation of the total quality management program in various industries.
Quality control, as all know it probably had its beginnings in the factory system that developed the Industrial Revolution. Products developed from using the non-standardized method from non-standardized materials. As a result, it provides products of different and unique quality. The predetermined standards used as measures of weight, dimensions, and quality. The most common form which is utilized by every industry is known as quality control. Quality is controlled by the inspection of poor quality product which would be separated from the acceptable quality product and then would be scrapped, reworked or sold as lower quality. (Gimenez-Espin, 2013) The inspection took place mainly to ensure that the sorting of conformance and the non-conformance product can be done and mostly involved visual inspection or testing of the product following manufacturer.
(Talib, 2013) stated that the most important stage of quality evolution is an emphasis on the change from various detection activities. Behind conducted this study the main purpose of the author was to provide sufficient confidence that a product or a service satisfy the needs of their target consumers by performing system audit, developing various experiment design and failure mode and effect analysis. All these traditional measures of quality control were designed as a defense mechanism so that any defect can be eliminated or prevent easily.
