SCIENCE IS NOT THE ONLY WAY TO DISCOVER THE TRUTH

People in our society view science with respect. There are various people who view science as threat to religion which should not be taken as such. However, everyone gives value to the research of the scientists. There is a popular example like, in the National Academy of Science, there were 98% atheists. The paper concluded that a large number of people who were engaged in the small businesses were atheists. Scientists have no authority to speak on the existence of God (as stated by various religious groups). Science is not the only way of knowing the truth. Truth can be discovered from many other sources. It is also not true that science always gives a true result. There are numerous people who do not believe in God. Philosophy is treated irrelevant in most of the cases (Rohrbach, 2014). Scientific discoveries are proved to be good only when the discoveries lead to resolution of some issues. Science argues our brain has evolved for survival and it has not evolved for learning the truth about the world. Most people believe in all this just because they have been propounded by scientists. They think that scientists never say wrong. Some scientists are doing research in fields that are not even their own. When contemporary science discovers some answer regarding truth, people faithfully accept the answer, without raising any question. However, it is not always possible that the answers will be true. There is lots of information in the world that science is incapable of coming up with the right response. Science never says that it is a valid form of knowledge. It is considered only a claim that science is the only way to know the truth.

It is a philosophical claim which is never proven by science. The methods of the scientists are only a logical inference. (Popper, 2013)They did not follow any valid method. Science is properly unjustified. In the absence of logical methods science is not able to prove anything.  Therefore we can say that it is completely based on the presumptions of rationality. There are many situations where logic and philosophy are very necessary for concluding result. The absence of these concepts leads in failure to do any research. Scientists can make only the observations about the world, but they could not draw any conclusions from them. For example, if a husband and wife are sitting in a room, people can only make observations from it but they will not be able to finally draw any conclusion. Empiricism can only indicate the physical observation, but it cannot indicate anything logical. Thus it can never be said that it is the only way of knowing the truth which is very far from it. This view is not considered irrational, but it fundamentally comprises our world.  If this thing is applied globally, all will say that it cannot be possible because all progress of human being is halted. We all know that science has contributed with benefits to human life. We all are grateful deeply for the hard work of the scientists who sacrifice their life for bringing innovative things for human life. Due to this, it becomes a tendency of general peoples that science can explain anything. There are many things which science is not able to find through the research and give their views such as:-
Science is not able to prove anything about the brain of a human being. It is unable to explain reasons behind our memories and the world actions. 

Science is unable to prove all moral truth. For example- science cannot give their justification whether rape is evil or not. There are many negative impacts of rape, yet science cannot prove that through any scientific test as evil. Science can only explain the natural world, but is u able to explain the moral truths.
When we think about the statement that “science is not the only way of knowing truth”, we can state that not only the scientific processes are termed as the area to discover the truth (Dewey, 2013). Not all things can be explained with the help of logic, without logic which cannot be possible. Science is not able to prove any historical event. There is not any scientific test exist which can prove all this. (Dewey, 2013)We can only make investigation never can scientifically test it. However, all this conclude that all this is considered only a mistake to saying that science is the only way of truth. All this thing certified that science is not able to give the true result.
