Library devices

In the present era of technology, the use of smart devices is prevailing everywhere in each and every phase of life. The devices like mobiles tablets, iPhone are omnipresent in the society .recently I made a   visit at the management library of the nearby locality of my town where I have seen that how these smart devices are used by the library staff and students for the effectiveness of library services.
Learning with the use of technology always prove an advantage for the learner.  Nowadays the libraries are also using the devices like laptops, I pads, tablets and smartphones. As per the visit conducted in the library, we have reviewed that mobile phones are used by the students of age group 18-24 .( Ally,2018) The laptops are used for the web browsing and searching of material related to the study as they will search the content in a single click rather than searching in the books. The librarians are using the mobiles for the information access in terms of the database of the members and patrons of the society, by which they can easily communicate with the patrons by the mobile access. In addition to that, the patrons are reading magazines and books by the use of tablets, which will be previously done worth the help of minicomputers or books. With the help of these portable devices, the patrons will connect all other libraries of the world, so that the user will be benefitted with the content.
The library technicians are also supporting these devices as they convert all the content in the e-books format, in the Kindle form which will be used in mobile phones and tablets, which will enhance the reading experience of the reader. (Reese,2014) ILS vendors are using mobile Optimized Catalogues so that the patrons can easily access the catalogues of the library with the help of their I-pads or tablets. The technicians are using the smart devices for the data base alert to the users, by creating an app with the list of new books and using I pads or mobiles for searching references. (Coulby,2016) The technicians are creating a mobile-optimized website for increasing the level of service. In this way, the skilled web development staff will apply their skills in the expansion of web design that will help the users for accessing the data. 

On the basis of the technological trend that is prevailing in society, the use of smart technologies like mobiles and tablets added an advantage in the library system (Cummings,2016). This report shows the advantages of technology that will be used by library patrons and the students, in the library for data access in terms of low-cost advantage, with the help of web developers and the skilled technicians of the library.
