Place Your OrderThe article deals with the analysis of emerging concept of Migrant division of labour in London. The numbers of jobs where the pay outs are lower are found to be in disproportionate numbers. These low-paid jobs are found to be dominated by the workers who are foreigners. The low-paid workers who are having lower skills have to enter the Britain labour market through a quota system which is highly based on the sectors they would serve [ CITATION Jon07 \l 1033 ]. The government has brought some changes by re-conceptualising the status and position of the migrant workers by outlining the new additions and changes in the division of labour from the point of view of politics and policy-making in the city.

The article explains the economic conditions and compensations of the low-paid migrant workers working in London. The article has also explained the guideline of new migrant division of labour in London. The occupational polarization is the main characteristic of the labour market of London market. There are many low paid jobs in London where the concentration of the foreign-born workforce could be found. The economic conditions of the low paid workers have been revealed through the discussion in the article where it could be seen that the foreign-born low paid workers do not have the affordability to match with the standard of living in London. On the other hand, the care sector of Britain does not need high level qualifications at the entry level as compared to any others sector of the country. The British born people are more engaged in this care sector [ CITATION Mig17 \l 1033 ]. The government has kept the compensations of the workers in this sector to be higher with an intention to safeguard the interests of the ones who have been transferred to care sector from public sectors [ CITATION Jan09 \l 1033 ]. Here the role of the government in shaping the suitable policies is worth mentioning.

To cope up with the high standard of living in London the citizens have posed pressure on the governing bodies to come up with suitable strategies and as a result the East London Communities Organisation introduced Living Wage Unit in London. The role of government is vital in this respect. It has been observed from the analysis of the case study that the government of London has to reconfigure the position and place of migrant workers in an international city like London and for this reason the migrant division of labour initiative has been taken.
