6.2 How to conduct environmental analysis of a country?
When conducting environmental analysis of a country, you can look at the product you are planning to manufacture and sell. Your product will have the answer to environment where it can survive for longer.
As for example, if you are selling sweets and you see market opportunities in two countries, where one is located in cold regions, another is located in scorching heat kind of locations near to equator. Which country will you choose?
Cold region will be an obvious choice as it will keep your product longer on the shelf.
You have to look at all the local resources that are available in the environment such as electricity supply, nearness to water resource, sewage system, place where you can dispose waste while staying under the local government laws, and others.
In order to conduct environmental analysis of a location, the best approach can be to conduct a physical inspection of the location. It will give you a fair idea about whether environment is conducive enough for operation.
